A 'censor' to a person who examines books, movies et cetera to find and remove offensive, immoral or harmful material. A 'sensor' is a device that detects or senses heat, light, motion et cetera. I imagine Spellcheck defaults to 'sensor' because 'censor' and it's root 'censorship' is less prevalent than it used to be and is out of fashion. :)
