Yeah my sister is like that, once she rolled a truck and this hilly road, got a rental car, rolled that on the same stretch of the same road the next day! The last of her probably 8 or 9 wrecks she hit a semi head on doing about 70 mph, luckily she survived but nobody is ever going to help her get her license back or give her another vehicle. The only reason I was angry at this situation was because my ex lied to me about it. Told me my son wasn't in the car and he was. She hardly spends any time with him, but in 5 days she managed to get him in a car wreck and get him sick again, plus I had to track her down through her mother to find the dudes house she is at this month and get my kid back. It was like the worst case trailer white trash place parents have nightmares of their kids stepping foot in kinda place.

I have bent over back wards trying to make this little girl grow up and be a mother to her son. But she can't handle a few days of taking care of him, I don't think I can let her take him back to that trailer now that I've seen it. some things nobody should ever have to worry about ya know ;)

I don’t blame you for needing to vent. Your sister sounds like my husbands. It’s those that always get things handed to them then have to screw up royally several times for people to say never again! Um if your ex is lying about your sons safety and not letting you know where they are at all times then that is total bullshit! You deserve to know that he is safe and his whereabouts in case of emergency. Sounds like she has a long way to go in the responsibility and maturity department. Do what you have to in order to keep him safe. He only has one childhood. :)

You're so nice :) I made a better meme about this topic that actually has a pic of the vehicle on it. My sis and ex have that in common, free ride and total it. Her step dad just got this settlement so they gave her their practically brand new Lincoln Navigator after spending an extra $2500 on it and she totals it 5 days after signing the title. It's funny he was complaining to me like I'm not her ex, when I broke it off with her he wanted to kick my ass. Now after seeing her not take care of her son and how I do everything to try and make seeing him easy for her he likes me more than her now I believe lol.

His safety is all that matters though. If I have to be the bad guy and he blames me for not seeing his mother. Which he always does if she disappears for a month or two anyway. Well, if it means he is safe I am sure he will figure it out later like his older sister eventually did with her dead beat mother. Got married young to an older woman who took off on our daughter and me when she wasn't even 2 yet. Raised her by myself and she just got an A on her first college course at the age of 16 after being homeschooled by me, so I guess I did ok on my own with that one.

Funny how my sons mom used to talk smack all the time about my daughters mom not being around. Then turns out to be exactly the same if not worse with her own kid. That's ok though, I could never be like them and rarely ever see my kids. Honestly I'm pretty lucky to have custody like I do, even if I have never seen any money from either of them for child support, apparently women don't have to pay that like guys do....

You’re nice too! Which is all more reason not to put up with any of that. There are lots of deadbeat moms out there. It’s not just dads and a lot of times when it is a Dad, it’s because the mother drove him out of the kids life and trash talked him. I’ve seen it so many times. Women don’t end up paying child support most of the time and nobody gives a crap but if it’s a man, everyone goes apeshit. I don’t think your son will blame you for anything. When he grows up he will see for himself I promise, because most of the time, people like her don’t change. But I hope for all your sakes that she does! You’re a great dad to be doing all this trust me. The kids are lucky. Better to have one really good parent than 2 together and one is a piece of crap! :)

I just can't understand it, I could never go months without so much as a phone call to my kids. I don't think either one of mine have ever gone more than two weeks without seeing me, a week max for my son. You can miss so much so fast when they are little. With my daughter it was easier, girls love their dad's if you only try a little bit. A boy needs his momma though, I'm not good at babying him but my own mother makes up for that I guess lol. I can't teach him to be a man, and kiss his boo boo's ya know. Luckily the kid is a charmer, I had a lady friend over the other night and he had her reading him stories. Get lost dad, I'm gonna steal this lady for some story time sucka!

Right on, my boy will be 6 on the 17th :) I think the main thing mom needs to be is the referee, because we can get wound up and destroy the house and nobody is like "KNOCK IT OFF BOYS!" I don't have anything close to the energy to try and date. Sometimes I swear his mother finds out I have plans and then "can't make it" that weekend for some reason. Maybe next year I'll find the time for something serious.....

She owns a dog training building, I swear she thought she could get me to jump through hoops too lmao! No biggie I do miss getting to play with the pitbull rescues and help the humane society get dogs that had been abused to trust people again. I think I stuck around longer than I should have for those dogs, but that's life. I'm just trying to keep my own shit together at the moment, if I meet somebody cool, I'm in no hurry I've rushed into enough things for one lifetime ;)

I can see how that would attract you. Animals are awesome! Volunteering for things like that can be intoxicating because it makes you happy. Youll meet someone. I think it happens most often when you aren’t even looking to be honest.

Well most guys with half brain know you don't date a redhead unless you want a lot of passion. Jealousy comes with that, and it can be a turn on in a way. But this was almost like harassment. Constantly being accused of something and having somebody pissed off at you when you've done nothing wrong. Isn't the same as a little bit of passion from somebody loving you enough to let you know how much they hate the idea of you being with anybody else. I guess like with most things, it's all about the moderation ;)

Thanks :) I simply had not had the energy to even attempt anything serious in a while. Maybe patience is a better word, the last one was all over me about where I was every damn second. Yeah her ex was a cheating bastard not my fault or style. It just got where I dreaded hearing from her because she was so paranoid, just thinking about it makes me want to break with somebody and I'm single lmao!

Not gonna lie I’m the pretty jealous type. I’m always stalking my husband on find my friends app lmao! I think he’s too scared of me to cheat though. Cheating does make women especially paranoid for sure. Lmao!
