No amendment in and of itself kills anyone. People abuse their rights to the detriment of others. For example, it's hard to see how the U.S. Civil War, which killed 600,000 Americans, could have gotten started without freedom of speech; So let's just get rid of all those deadly rights and let the government decide what is best for us.
