The main reason the social change isn't happening yet is because social conservatives are preventing that social change from happening.

Even if social conservatives wanted to "conserve" the state of "racism and inequality" that the players say they are protesting against, how exactly did all those black, brown, and yellow players become millionaires in such a racist country?

I think that this type of protesting is more "reactionary" than proactive and is a waste of time unless these rich athletes put their money where their mouths are and become proactive out in society.

I agree. For one thing, I don't believe that society's woes should be blamed on one group of people either. There are several causes to everything.

I did hear these athletes who took a knee were mainly doing to express their dislike of Trump, even though they kicked Kaepernick out for his reasons about a year ago. Kaeperick was at least standing, or kneeling, for something at the request of a veteran (yes, I just read this article stating that Kaepernick and Army Veteran Nate Boyer discussed police brutality, and Boyer convinced Kaepernick to kneel), while the other athletes kneeled for their own.
