Yeah, me too. I do without. Somehow that makes people think I am broke. They must all forget that I was working 60 hours a week by the time I was 19 and lived in a one bedroom apartment for 13 years with two incomes. I wasn't throwing big fancy parties and borrowing money to live off of. I wasn't taking fancy vacations twice a year to brag about to everyone. I kept a zero balance on my 2 credit cards for 20 years and went to community college for like $1,200 a semester. I bought my cars and drove them 10+ years. I didn't pour all of my money into tech stocks that were gaining 999% every three days or go subprime during the peak prices, either.
