One group is trying to change society for the better using peaceful means, the other group wants to destroy society by violence. We saw peaceful means used in the past, such as Ghandi's struggle to free India from British rule, and we've seen how hate groups tend to push destruction of society.
Yes, you can complain, but remember, you are complaining because a group of men that have the national spotlight are practicing their first amendment right. It's not anything new. When the Dixie Chicks spoke out against invading Iraq, protests lead to a drop in record sales and concerts being canceled. Imagine if the same tactics were used against the NFL. The league has chosen to support these peaceful protestors, as they break no law. They are a business. When Smith and Carlos were awarded their medals, they stood for the national anthem. Said not a word, being quite respectful, but raised their hands in the black power salute. We saw how what that got them.
Really, the best thing is to make this a country where such protestors and protests are not needed.
