I was referring to the recent verdict of "Not Guilty" regarding the St Louis police officer accused of shooting a black man

Easy. He wasn't guilty. Stop watching CNN.

This whole anti-Police thing was founded on a lie , that "Hands up , don't shoot" nonsense came up in a case where the perpetrator didn't have his hands up , he was attacking the Police officer who was arresting him for robbing convenience stores .

Is this a serious question for a first degree murder charge? Your problem should be with the prosecutor, not the judge. Once this was sent to a judge as first degree murder it was essentially a given he would be found not guilty.

Do you understand the difference between first degree murder and manslsughter? If not, your insta-rage is misguided.

For the record, my meme was supposed to be from the standpoint of a typical black person because --well, because that's just the way it typically goes. I'm sure you're well aware of that

The small percent of asswad cops makes the rest look bad. Over-zealous prosecutors looking for political office or caving to community pressure only worsen the situation.

No one in their right mind should think that cop woke up thinking "Imma kill me a black person today."

The charge was bullshit, the verdict was 100% on the mark.

An that right there is the problem. People today react to events with their 'feelings' and forget that we are governed by laws. And 'facts'. You may FEEL wronged by 'the system'. But the LAW determines the outcome, not your tears. I'm not saying life is fair, it's not. But work to change tge LAW, don't just riot when you don't get your way. That makes you a crybaby.

For the record , I am totally opposed to prosecuting law enforcement officers for doing their extremely difficult job . Gangs kill many more people then Police officers do .
