I'm gonna havta disagree with you on that one. I wouldn't say hoardes. If anything people travel sown there for early diagnosis because down there you can pay to have CT scans and the like at a very steep price. My mother went for cancer surgery 3 weeks ago and all total took 3 months from diagnosis to surgery. Myself took 3 months from my diagnosi to open heart surgery in 2010. It depends on the province some are better than others, BC one of the best ad we pay $75- $150/ month, Manitoba being the worst and they pay nothing. It's not a perfect system, but it works. There are some wait times, but when it does come to life saving, ya gotta know that our health care will take care of us. It's the beurocracy that is failing us. Too many high paying jobs in administration, not enough frontline staff in Doctors and nurses. We also have a brain drain, our Doctors going to other countries to make more money. And dont forget Canada is very sparcly populated, so keepibg Docs in rural areas is tough too. We do get alot alot of Docs from other countries aswell. But I do believe that is a false statement saying hoardes of Canadians flock to the south for treatment.
