Are you new here? Then I’ll explain: the "word" is not the correct translation for the original Greek "ho logos" in John 1.1! "Ho logos" means, according to Heraklit, "the law of the universe", and that became "flesh" in us "humble" infinite beings! .

When it comes to interpreting Scripture I prefer to go with the interpretations of the writers of Scripture and to compare Scripture with Scripture. Definitely NOT philosophers that had nothing to do with writing Scripture. According to the writers of Scripture the Logos is Jesus the Christ, who became flesh, and is the Creator of all things.

There is nothing illogical or incomprehensible about a part of God (the Son, the Word/Logos) taking on or adding finite human nature to Himself. It doesn’t detract from God’s perfection nor His infinitude for part of Him to take on the form of a finite imperfect human being (Philippians 2:6-7.)
