Here is the rub. The government made immigration illegal unless you follow their rules. Until the law is changed, the government is constitutionality required to enforce it. Why did we the people allow the government to restrict immigration? More government = more problems.

The legislature branch makes laws, the executive branch executes them, by passing regulations that enforce them, often to the degree that the executive sees fit. This is constitutional. That Obama saw fit to show compassion was his perogative, as it was Trump's to pardon Joe Arpaio. Oh - and the judicial branch interprets laws and how they are applied; Arpaio was convicted of ignoring the judge who informed him to follow the law as it was. Thus Arpaio committed an illegal act; Trump's pardon does not change this fact.

Where in the constitution does it say the executive branch can create regulations? Having the same body creating and enforcing the same set of rules violates the separation of powers clause

The executive branch 'executes' the laws. Article 2, section 1: 'The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.' The LAWS are created by the legislature - the executive EXECUTES the laws by creating regulations by which these laws are carried out. The departments of the executive cabinet enforce the regulations which execute the laws. Time for another class of citizenship 101, Bohnson...

It doesn't say the president can create regulations in the constitution. Your jumping to conclusions. Read the article. the power to create regulations comes from apa act of 1946. The government voted themselves more powers without amending the constitution. Which makes it unlawful. Try again.

I'm sorry I don't understand how your comment relates to liberals trying to set a dangerous precedence of rewarding criminal behavior. Or that immigration laws were poorly designed in the first place and big government is the problem not the solution.
