This guy (Steven (kill all the gays) Anderson) or people who think/act like him.

I don't think all Christians act or think like him. I know a plenty good lot of Christians who are proud of their beliefs and proudly present them without getting threats, along with choose how much of the Bible they follow. The people who I can't stand call themselves Christian, yet hide in corners of the internet bashing people who support the poor, vote gay rights, and believe actual science. The other types of "Christians" I can't stand are the Joel Osteen types who spend billions of dollars on their own houses while pretending to self-forgive their sins and ignoring the poor, the Scott Lively types who call for Christian ISIS, and the Mike Pence types who call for enforcing religion into our children's lives.

If you are tired by the way you are misjudged as a Christian, then I suggest not portraying atheists the way they are portrayed as that only furthers the battle of the stereotypes instead of solving it.

If you don't get the joke you should look up that verse reference and see from the context who it is that is speaking.
Most of the stuff I post about is just jokes that are supposed to be funny. Some people won't think it is funny but some will. I suggest not taking the internet to serious.
I have no delusions about being accepted by or even represented or characterized properly by people who are not grounded in a biblical worldview. Even many other Christians and the different types of Christians you mentioned don't think highly of people like me because I would call them to actually live by the principles taught by Jesus and He never tells us to force our beliefs onto anyone. He does tell us to be an influence on the culture in which we live and if that is what they are doing I can't fault them for it.

I see your point about not taking the internet seriously, though the reason I comment on internet posts is often to start a discussion.
I'm pretty sure Christianity has been an influence on the culture around us, as have many other cultures that have made their footprint in American culture.
