My $0.02 on the "same sex marriage" debate

I have enough problems of my own. I don't have the time, the inclination, or energy to worry about anyone elses.

Targeting a religion or group that doesn't share the same beliefs is not about equality. I can't have a priest perform a traditional ceremony for me because I'm not Catholic. Some Churches won't allow the wedding to be at the church unless you use their wedding planner. There's goofy rules everywhere. If it doesn't fit your wants, move on. Capitalism always provides a way.

Oops, sorry for being unclear. I agree - it's just as wrong to force a priest to perform a ceremony s/he doesn't believe in as it is to prohibit the ceremony.

The problem is that marriage is not between two people but three, the 3rd being society itself. The very act of marriage is but to seek the approval of society. This is so even for conventional / traditional couples.

But It is none of my business if people.
