October 6th. one of my favorites too. It's supposed to be like 40 years after the original took place chronologically.

Yeah, so I saw the trailer finally,
Thing is, how much is he in the movie, since the focus seems to be on another cop.
Scott is exec producer, not director, and he had such wonderful touch and pacing in the first (and his other movies).

What I really don't want to see is the Escape From NY reboot (if they get it done), although maybe I might, depending on who plays Plissken. Read last year that one of the many considered was the Shane actor from TWD. I nearly barfed and had a cardiac at the same time. Ugh.
Another they considered was Timothy Olyphant, he's the only one I read of that I like. But apparantly he ain't doing it. And the new Hauk is gonna be a woman, and it's sorta a prequel.

Haven't heard of the next Mad Max, although they're signed on for at least 2 more.

Did you see War for the Planet of the Apes? Friggin A,,,

I don't get the reboots. its like the new Death Wish thing with Bruce Willis. Or what if someone tried to remake Dirty Harry...who could possibly out do Clint Eastwood. it would be embarrassing.
I haven't seen War for hte Planet of hte Apes yet. Its definitely on my list of must sees.
Did you ever see the HBO series Deadwood from a few years ago? Timothy Olyphant was the lead. Great show.

They're rebooting Death Wish?

OH SHOOT! HE WAS? Frig, I got tired of the Sverge barkeep guy "F**king f**k the f**k f**k f**k" every other word exaggerated crap and zoned out and gave up after a couple of episodes.
I remember Olyphant from The Girl Next Door. He stole the show. She was cute tho, and her friends.
