My rule of thumb: If it has a comic book speech bubble, it gets comic sans. Batman slapping Robin. The Rock Driving. Boardroom meeting (both versions) You Got It Fanboy, and my Diner of Despair Series.
By the same token, though, I wouldn't use comic sans in an obituary.
