I'm not sure what you mean by where they go.

If they feature, they're visible to anyone who visits imgflip and clicks on Hot or Latest (you can see those two options when you click on the imgflip logo in the top left of the screen). They're also visible to anyone who visits your profile (for example, by clicking your username), unless you submitted them anonymously.

If they don't feature, it's harder for other users to see them. But you can always find your own memes (whether they featured or not) by going to My Images on the menu under your username on the right, and selecting Submitted Images.

I submitted a couple of joke memes yesterday, and I checked the Latest list hourly, and I never did find them, despite going in 4 or 5 pages. It's not the first time, either, although I'll admit to finding 1 or 2 of them in the past. I know I can find them in the my images, I just like to see them in the wild, where they belong.

No problem. I wish you all the best at finding your memes in "the wild" so to speak. If they're featured, they're somewhere in Latest. You will see them eventually, if you keep scrolling.

(They'll also be in Hot if they're featured, but unless they've got a few upvotes on them, I'm not sure how deep they'd be - it might be too far to scroll).

On your profile page, select "MY IMAGES" in the drop down box, select "SUBMITTED IMAGES". click the update button.

Next to the bottom of your image, it will have it's status. You will see an orange "Submitted" or green "Featured". If not featured, then it's in submission hell, and may never see the light of day again. If it's stuck in that status, it means there was a TOS violation (read those), it was featured and downvoted back into submission, or there's a mod that's on a power trip.

All of my public memes have been featured so far...I just like to see them in the Latest list, but I hardly ever do (despite digging around for them for hours after submission and approval).

Yeah, I have that problem, too. I rarely seen my posts in the latest pages. It takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 23 hours for my stuff to post. I just keep an eye on views & upvotes and comments. When I get about 100 views and a few upvotes, I go looking in the hot pages. Usually I spot them between page 3 and 10. When they hit page three, I keep an eye on it, because that's a good idea it has a chance for page one. Keep your eye on this meme.
