If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

WTF are you talking about? At no point in the meme or in my comments have I said one word about her. Sedition is used in the course of undermining the established government. The Sedition Act of 1918, an amendment to The Espionage Act of 1917, uses the term for citizens inciting acts detrimental to the US and it's interests during times of war. Attempts were made to use this against the war demonstrators during the 60s, but failed because, while we had troops in Vietnam fighting and dying in a battle zone, the US never once declared war on North Vietnam, thus no war, no sedition as applied to the act.

However, I posted a definition. The word Sedition was not created just for the act, nor is the act of sedition limited to wartime. Look back in the 70s and you'll see that, due to FBI stings, that many elected officials committed acts of sedition that caused them a world of hurt. Any time an elected official takes a bribe, that's sedition. Every time an elected official abuses their power for personal gain that's sedition. Have you ever noticed how heavily invested members of congress are in the Keystone XL pipeline. It's not to benefit the brunt of their constituents: It's to help their campaign donors and, as they have a financial stake in it, themselves. Notice how the stock market changes when a law is passed that will affect some stocks. More than once, elected officials, sitting on a committee has either bought, or sold, certain stocks based on how they perceive the direction a certain bill will affect their stocks, undermining the nation's economy. But, being elected officials, nobody will stop them. Doesn't matter which party, as both are guilty of doing it.
