ex. Look at the charlie and the chocolate factory movies, and also look at the Diddy Kong Racing games. These originals were good, but not the sequels/remake.

I agree that sequels usually are bad, which is why I'm confused that movies that were bad in the first place, get a sequel. That's double the bad.
