Trump IS the legitimate President. Get over it, and let's avoid wasting 4 to 8 years of yours and everyone else's lives playing puppet to the 'Media' and their D arm....

That's the road republicans took , just accept Obama as their president not gridlock the gov for six years. So gridlock trump all the same.

The ONLY time in the last many many years that I became uninsured was UNDER Obamacare..... I had NO insurance for 16 months.... Or I could have spent $9,000 that I didn't have, for a 4 to 5 thousand dollar deductable.... THEN just to rub it in, I was 'fined' by IRS for not having insurance.... Sorry, your impression of Obamacare as some great thing is a misconception.... Besides, if people were not forced to buy insurance -- many will not, by their own choice (they would not be 'thrown off')

Including folks I knew with preexsisting conditions that now have insurance.

So, Obamacare adversely affecting health insurance for millions of others, is justified?... Okay... Pre-existing conditions could have been addressed by themselves.... Because, when someone has a 'pre-existing' condition, it is no longer fully 'insurance'..... Imagine if they had 'pre-existing condition' auto or home insurance: just go out and buy a burnt-out house, and tell the insurance agent 'you MUST cover the 'pre-existing' condition of my house' -- and after he's compelled to cover you, immediately file a claim for the pre-existing fire damage.... Seems like it would be a great idea to get a re-built house for cheap....

(I thought you might go to 'car or house not the same as life' -- I was actually thinking of addressing that but thought by saying "Pre-existing conditions could have been addressed by themselves", and "it's no longer fully 'insurance'" would cover that aspect.) Of course a LIFE is different.... But a person who is terminally ill, 80 years old, will not be able to get the same LIFE insurance, for the same price (if at all), as a 25 years old, perfectly healthy person. What you are talking about is no longer INSURANCE -- call it something else, but it's not insurance... 'We' SHOULD take care of people with pre-existing conditions, but not with 'insurance' -- because it would be nearly completely subsidy. It should be separated from being insurance -- IF we are to somehow claim that a 'health insurance market' exists (otherwise, get it over with and move to 'single payer' and stop the selective punishing and rewarding)... In fact, let's also lose misleading terms, such as 'heath care' -- because we all KNOW that it's a big business. It should be called the 'Medical Industry' (or even 'Medical-Industrial-Complex', since the connections of insurers, hospitals, doctors, pharmaceuticals, and now the government, are inseparable.). One of the biggest reasons WHY 'health care' is so expensive is because of the 'Medical-Industrial-Complex'.... After all, if people are being charged $100 for having a bandaid put on -- the real problem is those ridiculous costs, not so much 'who' is going to pay for it.

Btw, if we never address why the costs are out-of-control, whether we go to single-payer, repeal Obamacare, or leave it in-place as it is -- we will never fix anything really.... Single-payer will probable result in either decreased level of care overall for 'insured' individuals (and the creating of a 'two-tier' system, by which those rich enough to actually outright pay for services, will receive, by-far, the best services), OR single-payer will result in astronomical tax increases -- both outright taxation (for rich and middle-class), or 'hidden' taxation (for middle-class and poor).... There are also tons of businesses out there that will make a killing going to single-payer... Note: 'hidden' taxation are such things as decreased job opportunity (less jobs, less pay, etc), or higher prices for the goods and services that they sell. This would naturally be the result of the rich and corporations passing-down their higher tax costs (as they ALWAYS do). Whenever you hear a politician saying "we need to tax the rich and the corporations more", those politicians KNOW that what it really means is that those same 'rich and corporations' will pass that tax along to their employees and customers (thus, those politicians are really trying to 'sneak in' a tax on the middle class and poor! which is ultimately regressive taxation).

Tl;dr I'm already agreeing with you above

We can actually fun common ground here . I totally agree with your arguement . The health system is the problem. The affordable care act could've worked if Obama admin wouldn't have let Kaiser right the bill. Which actually started under Nixon a rep. When he did healthcare for profit bill also wrote by Kaiser in '76. Check it out its fact. So we really agree here bro I just want Americans covered and of course you can't get coverage at the same rate at 24 as 54 my mom in law pays a grand a month.
