You must not have been paying much attention to Hillary's (which the memers immediately turned into 'Killary') 2016 presidential campaign. I quick-vetted a couple of the memes which put the number of suspicious deaths or 'suicides' by people within weeks of testifying/publishing/presenting against the Clintons between 20-50 for the last ~30 years.

But it's not like 'suiciding' someone else is exclusively Clintonian (I'd guess most high-powered families have similar body counts under their belts). Intelligence agencies have been doing that (usually by causing suspicious heart attacks or 'random acts of violence') for literally thousands of years to prevent damaging evidence/testimony from coming to light.

And if you can succeed at framing the scene, it's basically the perfect murder crime. Thus its popularity throughout our species' history.

You miss my point. Suicide is the taking of your own life. It has NOTHING to do with others....that would either be called "murder" or "being an accessory in the wrongful death of another". did those who covered the Clinton campaign have day jobs as dictionary and encyclopedia editors? No. They were media reporters.....no always the most reliable resources of the proper use of the "King's English"!
And no, I did NOT pay attention to her campaign in general. I had way more than enough of her bull-schist as MY UNITED STATES SENATOR from 2001 to 2009, so I knew as soon as she ran for POTUS that I didn't care about her, nor would I waste my time paying attention to her or anything she said. And I will ignore her again in 2020, should she take another stab at running!
And I wish she'd take her hubby, move back to Arkansas, open a private law practice, and just leave all of the rest of us alone!

I actually do understand that suicide is the taking of one's own life. The very verbiage in the meme *should* set off multiple warning alarms regarding how one might possibly 'suicide' someone else; the whole idea is that murderers often attempt to make murder look like suicide so they don't get caught for committing murder. And if one successfully executes such a deception, as far as the world (or at least the law) is concerned, the murder victim was instead a suicide victim. Thus, someone who effectively convinces the authorities that a murder was a suicide can be said to have 'suicided' someone else. I think any reasonable interpretation of the available information, which took concepts like irony and duplicity into account, would produce an expected range of outcomes that included my above interpretation.

But no type of humor is universally effective, and dark humor tends to strike people sideways. So either my joke was terri-bad to begin with, this particular joke struck you sideways, or some other factor is causing the disconnect in what is otherwise pretty clearly an attempt at a funny meme.

Also, my condolences for having to endure HRC as your US Senator. And I happen to support the notion that the Clinton family retire from public life and spare us further suffering at their hands.

Thank you for the condolences.
And I will concede that my particular sense of humor will, at times, grossly not coincide with that of everyone else.
