Jesus got a boo-boo for your sins.

The death and resurrection of the Christ is central to the Gospel. It brings new life to believers, a life of spirit where we were formerly dead, spiritually. It just seems to aggravate non believers.

It doesn't aggravate me. It fascinates me. How can someone believe such crap? LOL. Besides, if he was resurrected then he didn't really die so the slogan should be "Jesus got a boo-boo for your sins" If he's not dead then he didn't die for anyone's sins. He just took a nap.

Died, dead. Brought back to life. Power over death now gives believers new life. Been a controversial topic from the beginning, no doubt about it. ("He only 'looked' dead; it was just a 'swoon'; it was was his disciples pulling a switcheroo; et cetera.)

But it also isn't the only mystery, and maybe no even the biggest stumbling block. Try this one: As Jesus lives in G-d and G-d lives in Jesus, Jesus lives in believers and believers live in Jesus. A mind bender, yes? You believe in what that makes sense to you and I see this working, fitting together to answer the question(s) of life. Not "crap" thank you. But nothing in what I believe compels me to "rough up" or "rub out" anyone else.

I appreciate this civil dialogue. Having read some of your exchanges with others, it is what I expected.

I try to stay civil but still others will call me a troll because I disagree with them or I point out how they steal memes to stay on the points leader board. In either case it's always them that starts the name-calling and insults...yet I'm the troll.
