Waiter, there's a phone in my soup. Never turn on an electronic device that's wet. If it's on, turn it off. Wipe it off. Open any covers (battery, sim, etc) remove all removable parts. Vacuum it off. Don't use a hairdryer. Put it in a ziplock bag of rice or dessicant packs and close the seal. Put the bag in the sun. The worst possible thing you can do is use it powered on or leave it powered on while it is still wet.
