I've definitely noticed this over the course of the past year or so. It's gotten so bad that I can pretty much figure that some users here have upwards of 5 or more profiles.

It's funny that the profiles I figured were the alts of some users start arguing with each other and I just sit back and watch the stupidity.

The only thing I don't really like about all the alts is when the users who use them, use them to upvote their own worthless crap memes and downvote the other user's memes they hate.

I think it's wrong for people to use alt accounts to harass others or increase their own voting influence, but it's also wrong for people to accuse others of using alts when they aren't sure.

I think I saw it today on one of my submissions.

Granted I have a 2nd account, this one, but only because I forgot my password for the 1st one. I'm derp like that.

I don't know about that one ,but a user actually responded twice to this meme with 2 different alts , complaining about being falsely accused and responding twice to the same meme . LOL

Of all things, this wastes time more than anything!

I guess the part that gets me is, how do you know?

I mean, it's possible the arguers you think are alts could be different users, couldn't they?
