Um, I don't think that's a thing. And it's never been. At my school, we actually have a class on religion, and that is definitely not a thing.

At What school are you learning religion?

Qur’an 9:29—Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Sahih Muslim 30—Muhammad said: “I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah.”

Qur’an 48:29—Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves

Qur’an 9:5—Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 

And there is more. Its not a coincidence that there have been so many islamic terrorist attacks. I am a middle eastern immigrant (iranian) and i know without a doubt that islam is not a religon of peace.

The Bible doesn't prove anything.
There is no proof anything in the Bible exists.
And even if it did, just because the guy that created Islam was aggressive doesn't mean that the religion couldn't have changed in that time.

I wasnt talking about the bible i was talking about islam teaching violence against non muslims from various islamic sources. Islam is not only a religion but its also very political. Do some research on sharia law and you will see that islam is far from peaceful. Sharia law includes executing homosexuals( often thrown off the top of building to their death) stoning people for adultery, executing people for criticizing islam/Mohammed based on blasphemy laws, killing apostates( those that leave islam) and etc. Islam is also very oppressive to women.
