If only that were true...I do feel for you, believe me. :)
Here it's been legal with a doctor's note for over ten years now (it could be longer, but due to my state of mind let's just go with that). And I must admit it is very nice to have a selection to choose from.
But in January it will be legal for everyone to be able to smoke, except kids of course. I also hear that California wants to declare itself a sanctuary state immune from federal marijuana laws. So it will be fun to sit back and watch what happens. :)
And here's another thing to think about with drug laws against weed, since you seem to have put that together with the burdensome taxes. The city, state, country makes money off having these onerous drug laws against weed, so it can be a surplus of cash. So might a better argument be why is our government financially benefitting by prohibiting a drug that has been medically found to help people in all kinds of medical ways? Because that way you would be putting the burden on them to explain their actions. Altough it may be their way of social engineering to "control the masses".
I totally agree smoke em' if ya got them, life is too short to waste, and high is the best way. :)
