I took trolling to a whole new level with this one. While I didn't like the angle the photographer used, I didn't like that the kid, with his education, would try to scam the photographer out of his fee without complaining to him. He must have gotten a lot of flak about it, because in the hour or so it took me to remove the proof he graduated, he took the picture down. Couldn't let all of that work go to waste, so I cobbled this together. Photographers LOVED what I did to the cheapskate. Guess he didn't study ethics.

ETHICS?? NOT IN MY VOCABULARY | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
That's a principle that's seriously lacking in today's society :-(

It's amazing when you do see it in practice, though. When it's a major corporation willing to show it, it blows you away. No, ethics, pretty much, has gone the way of the dodo.

I just finished up. A couple I missed, and,of course, today's posts. Busy trying to get apartment cleaned. Cats and grandkids have all but trashed it. Argh.

Oh, I still need to do comments, but I'd already done the upvoting. Gotta ride herd on my slave labor, though. Granddaughters help make the mess, they're gonna clean it up!

While it. Looks like it might be a more upscale college, I'm sure he could figure out a way to pay that photographer?. Be a good MasterCard parody. College education $120,000. Cap and gown $120. Getting burned trying to scam the photographer priceless

I'm just glad I went to college in the '80s. Ended up $20,000 in debt, but compared to nowadays that's nothing and I paid it off faster than I thought I would.

I had a disability in the mid 80s. Still have it, but it was a problem. Took advantage of a program here and got a free ride to college. Literally. There was even a transportation allowance in there.

Always take advantage of what you can. Those who would knock you for a 'free ride' are usually those who get a free ride through life by position of their birth.

I never had that. I just grew up around kids like that. SMH. I went to school with several whose parents were successful business owners but the kids didn't want to take over the business, even though there's their parents make it successful too much work. Grandpa's kids didn't want to take over running the resort, so he sold it to a cousin that turned out into a mobile home community. Long story there, but I was too young and Dad and him had been estranged most of their lives. Dad was an oops and their families refused to let them marry.

One thing i learned growing up was if you want something, you work for it. I worked a good part of my life, when I became disabled with CHF & COPD, I decided to relax and take it easy. Lasted a year. I keep busy, though.

My brother-in-law, before his passing a couple years ago, had disability for a very bad back, then multiple sclerosis, then he was hit with a rare leukemia, which killed him. My niece still receives from his disability benefits, which is a good thing. Yeah, it frustrated him too that he couldn't work; he was the furthest from wanting to slack.

It bemuses me to hear tales of families denying kids the right to marry. Try that nowadays... ;)

Denying kids marriages: that's why Grandma got pregnant. They ended up marrying others, but both were widowed. When Dad got sick, Mom played match maker, so that two months before Dad died, Grandma and Grandpa finally got married.

It's the human impulse. I'm not un-ethical, but most 'morals' simply get in the way and get kicked out. Good for your Grandma and Grandpa.
