have you ever taught or thought about teaching? every year i get to see a fresh slice of humanity, some of whom want that good-money job, but many of whom want to change the world in a positive way. and they're either science majors or would-be nurses rather than philosophers. part of my job is to get them to philosophise (it's not otherwise required of them) and encourage imagination, skepticism, open-mindedness and any basic thinking about the nature of the universe and reality. they generally respond to it eagerly and it's very refreshing and recharging of my optimism.

my other work (in science) strongly supports the idea of destiny in the universe, at least at the molecular and biological levels, but not clearly enough to let us know where the whole ride is headed. it's fascinating though, and that's been enough for me so far.

Teaching? Yes. I get that alot. All kings are teachers, was a thought i was having while i was having my morning shower. It's a path i might end up going down.

I suspect the unrealized global (or western) dynamic that we're encountering is the increasing differences between generations of people. Things moving faster.

It creates power imbalances since certain populations and age segments are probably going to become obsolete, HOWEVER their age and worldly experience places them in a position of power, regardless.

I expect a dramatic increase in online cultish behaviour, as well as the emergence of a western automation welfare state.

I expect classes and agegroups to focus on the preservation of the ways of their ingroup as an artform in order to maintain a healthy and fluid sense on self for them to tap into whenever they go astray.

Previously i was assuming that the abrahamic trinity would align and intertwine, but i discounted envangelism, probably because it doesn't really exist in central Canada. They might have been left in the dust as early as the bill clinton era.

I think once Trump is done smashing America's imperialism, we'll be treated to some space themed culture while the rebuilding process begins with someone like Bernie Sanders. Or maybe a lefty will win, and it'll be broad censorship for everyone, lol.

Since you've been so helpful in arranging my thoughts, my advice is as such:

Independant thought and ideas, and critical thinking... All that good stuff, will cause any group you encounter to close itself off. They generally tend to send guards after you, or the white knights ride out. I just use the 16 personality type Myers Briggs when i encounter that.

People think they are ONE. So they can only manifest one self. I suspect that might be because women are deaperate to find "The one", because they want to be "second".

What needs to be done IMO is teaching men to be alpha and omega, and women to be beta. It gives everyone what they want, within their realistic abilities, and it's the only thing that seems to be mesh with historical religion, which seems nessisary. :)
