Lol, a true redneck fix. My dad and I were out in the field hunting one year and busted a U bolt that holds the axel onto our camp trailer. We used a wire hanger and a chain to hobble it back together and it held out for the rest of our hunt as well as the 120 miles back to our house.

While that is stupid you have to look at the engineering behind it.I say it's clever thinking even if it's gonna get you bulled over in the long run.
