Excellent. And a whole lot of people do not understand that not all diesel pumps work with all vehicles. Most diesel pumps have hoses with large nozzles. They only work in big rigs. For passenger cars and passenger trucks, a smaller nozzle is needed, and most gas stations only have 1 small nozzle diesel hose.

Perhaps this is a regional thing. Where I live, trucking is big business. The truckers do not want to wait longer than necessary when refueling. Hence the larger diameter nozzle that pumps more GPM. Having owned a VW diesel car, I would always have to search out where the small diameter nozzle was located, and usually there would be a car getting gas blocking that one hose, while the owner was in the convenience store looking at the girly magazines in the rack.

I used to drive an Audi A3 TDI inherited from my father, and most of the gas stations I went to only had one diesel pump, or they were isolated from the general gas area. Now I drive a standard Audi A3 sedan, and the premium gas is much more expensive than diesel.

How much does premium gas cost where you live? In California, it's around $3.39/gallon, but I get mine at Costco and it's $2.99/gallon.

Premium is about 2.69 and diesel is about 2.19
