I'm at a loss for words. Uh oh. Never mind. I found them. Everyone here that helps somebody does so because it's good for the site. Those that have enough courtesy to appreciate the help are the reward.
Don't worry, we all have clinkers. That's why what you're doing now, building a fan base, helps. Your memes are good. You're polite. I won't ask your age, but based on your memes, I'd say you're young, but mature. Tell your folks I said they must have done something right in raising you. I'd say within a week, based on this short time, you'll be up to three submissions a day. 4000 points in a day is good. I average about 3,000 a day, so you don't seem on the weekly leaderboard often. But slow and steady, yada yada yada, has me well into the top 100.
But the great thing is, you're earning your points.
Not sure how you are about setting goals, but I'd say if you set goal for 15K by next Sunday, you'll most likely make it. Within 48 hours of that, you should be able to do three submissions a week. I think you can get the 1200 points a day to make it. That's how I set my goals: I know my average, factor in a little more for submissions that take off, and my goal is set. My next goal is to be in the millionaire club by Labor Day. I'm on track. I've had really good week. Two page one memes helped. And a lot of commenting. I had a few thousand short of 600K on Friday. Now I have 612K, and few items in some of the other hot pages.
Comment in the hot pages, but also comment on some of the good memes that are in the latest. It may not seem like it now, but you should make leaderboard by Christmas or sooner. I'm talking top 100.
