Rule 1: make your doctors work around YOUR schedule. Need your sugar checked? let them know that you don't go to bed until 6AM. That "Nothing after midnight" rule changes real fast.

I have been a day sleeper most of my adult life. I am not one that believes getting up early is a virtue. I worked late so that those with that misguided belief could do their thing. When my Ex would make an appointment for me, she always did it around 8 or 9 in the morning to get it out of the way. ("The earlier your appointment, the faster you can get in and out") I spend an hour or so waiting to see the doctor or have the test done because everyone else thought the same thing. I keep my appointments in the afternoon. In and out fast. If I have my sugar checked, I do it in the afternoon. I just cant's eat after I go to bed.

So you've had to deal with folks that pound on your door at 8 AM when you only went to bed at 6 or 7. Next time, answer the door naked and say something inappropriate. Amazingly, it helps stop those mid morning interruptions

Lol thats funny. Yeah i used to work alot of nightshift on 12 hour rosters 7 days a week.

I can relate to this. No phone calls or visitors before 2pm.

Lol true.it seemed to me i would always get phone calls early in the mornings and just as i was getting much needed sleep. Probably why the answering machine was invented :) that guy is awesome
