Nearing 45,000 points... Not 1 front page meme. Either my memes are just that good or just that bad.

The hard part is getting seen. If people aren't visiting your profile regularly, it's going to be difficult for your memes to get enough upvotes to make it into the first few pages of Hot - which is where they'll need to be, if they're going to get upvoted to the front page.

The best way around that is to make lots of comments. If you look at the profiles of users who tend to get their memes onto the front page, you'll see that their ratio of comments to submissions is very high (there are some exceptions, but that's generally the case).

Nope, top of 2nd page. Or who knows, maybe I missed it for a minute or two. I sure hope not. I even made a meme about it. Another BLB meme. It was "Meme gets to the top of the second page, meme dies just before it hits the front." I'm not too sure though. But I do check this website fairly often. But if it did happen, I would be kind of upset I missed it :)

I missed going over 1,000,000. Spursfan said it was 3 am Central time, I was snoring.

Socrates is right: Increase your commenting on other's memes. Raydog recommends commenting on all the Page One memes, which is good. I suggest commenting on the memes in Latest that you like. They may hit Page One, and, if you do it soon enough, you'll be the top commenter.

Yeah, that's happened to me on a Raydog meme. Where mine became a top comment because I saw it on the latest. About commenting on all the front page memes, that might be tough. Trying to come up with a clever meme on EVERY SINGLE ONE. But, I will try.

I don't think you need to feel like you need to comment on every single front page meme (unless you get on a roll). You want people to think your comments are funny, so it's probably best to focus more on ones where you can think of something funny.

And Swiggys-back has a good point about Latest. It helps those memes out when people comment on them.

You are a wise man, Socrates. The only thing I can add, here, is that you may want to put the link to your advice stream. You and ghostofchurch and a few other top dogs have a lot of advice available to new users.

Yeah, even I have difficulty commenting on the page one, but I do try. If you have a comment that you think is surefire, post it. Add to the humor, but don't heckle.

Come up with a signature meme that defines your personality. Then say simple things like "that deserves an Upvote" or "Awesome!". It's a fast way to show that you like other memes.

The only thing I would add is that a lot of top imgflippers have some so-so memes but they have made a lot of vet supportive friends on here who always upvote and comment and, this is really important, they answer all of them back. Keep up the good work!!!!

Ahhhh, it's just a name I came up with as a kid. Thought it was pretty funny. So I just named this account Jesus_Milk. I guess to break the ice, I'll ask, what's your name about?

I had another account on here about 1 1/2 years ago and actually did fairly good then with all the political memes and and a lot of hirtfuythings happening here, I deleted my account. But I missed it so much so made some adjustments to my thinking and expectations and started up again, anonymously:) It's taken me awhile to cultivate friendships but they are coming along!!

Same with me--just took a 16 week work contract out of state but since I was off today thought I'd see what's going on and glad I did since I got to talk to you /)

Very glad to talk to you, too! I even made a few comments on Tammy's meme about leaving about how much I agree. Even though I am a boy, I'm not a 14-year old teenager. I don't like these memes either, the ones that are basically porn. I miss the old Imgflip (Like, a month ago) where every single one is just a different meme with a different theme. I'm definitely not looking forward to the front page just being filled with cleavage memes again. I would like more variety again. Have fun at work!

I myself have always shied away from religious context. Your profile name (although subtlety funny) activates my subconscious to avoidance. Yes, I am profile name profiling but I can't help it.
I have questioned my own profile name, Liir007, because it might be to unwieldy, difficult to pronounce, or only I get the joke.
So if you were inclined to think that it is your profile name holding you back, you could start a new account and make sure everybody knows it the new you. :-)

I'm sorry, my name is not meant to offend anyone. If I made an announcement, it would probably be lost in the "recent" page. If you would not like to see my name, please, just avoid my profile.
