Of course. Constantine was notably the first to 'kill in the name of Christ' in the fourth century ACE, and "Christians" have been doing the same ever since. But, there have been plenty of bad people who have called themselves religious in any regard, and there have been good atheists. But, that was my original point: Christianity, like Jainism, Buddhism, and Taoism (which was more of an ideology rather than a religion, I suppose) have strong doctrines of non-violence....but, that doesn't mean that people who label themselves within these ideologies actually, truly practice them. Pacifism isn't at all exclusive to these, or other religions, like I said--I was just saying that these ideas propagate non-violence thoroughly. The problem is that people who claim to identify themselves as Christians, Taoists, or any other religious disciple don't practice what they preach. But, that's also consistent with all of humanity: we're all hypocrites in one way or another, at some point in our lives.
