In a Pew research poll a few years back, their findings showed, "According to the poll, just over half of scientists (51%) believe in some form of deity or higher power; specifically, 33% of scientists say they believe in God, while 18% believe in a universal spirit or higher power." She must figure if you have to makeup imaginary numbers to support an argument there is a God, the the god you speak of must be imaginary.
Should scientists put the question of God up for a peer review?
Myself, I fall into the category of the 18% that say they believe in a universal spirit. But if you're talking about the God of the old and new testaments, as well as other religious texts? I put those up there with Aesop's Fables and Tales From The Brothers Grimm.
