Thanks bro I'm glad you like it! I am rather fond of the hurdle joke even if I used the incorrect word hurtle which I am going to blame on jet lag lmao! Almost left it blank for others to try and make a story out of it but it's uploaded to the templates in case another mind can find more humor in it. This type of template is what I enjoy making most, they rarely get a lot of points so obviously making them is enough for me ;)

I like em!! I'm not very concerned with points. I just make what I make. Like yesterday and today, I only submitted one thing. I'd rather put out something that I'm happy with rather than feeling like I have to push out whatever just to get some points that don't really amount to anything lol! You like to make people laugh and you're good at it, PLUS you're a nice person so that's all that matters to me!

That's the best way to look at it, I'm just always looking for an excuse to make a template. I enjoy going through the latest and if a meme makes me think of something to create I jump on it. I remember being new and having reallyitsjohn leave me my first comment ever. I didn't even know what the front page was back then but knowing somebody liked what I made enough to drop a comment meant a lot.
I won't comment on reposts, or memes complaining about reposts, or memes complaining about memes that are doing good they think shouldn't be. I only comment on something originally funny enough that it in turn gives me an idea for a comment. If it's funny but I draw a blank they at least get one of my many upvote templates. I may be the only person lucky enough to see that meme so I hope my comment lets them know I got a kick out of it at least. I did the same thing when I had 20,000 points as when I hit 2 million, but man it's a lot harder to keep up with the latest pages now than it used to be for sure ;)

I wasn't even aware of just how many people were on this site. It seemed like it was pretty small because it was always the same people commenting. Then I saw a post on the front page and it said 19000 views and I was like, DAMN!! WHERE ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE? Lol

Well a lot more people visit here just for memes to use on facebook or text than make them that's for sure. That's why something that may be an obvious repost to us memeheads can still do really good because our audience isn't into them like us creators are. Raydog has the biggest fan base out of those people because he is a genius at knowing what our audience likes and they know they can depend on him for that. Some people are known for good political memes others for dank stoner memes. Eventually if you produce enough quality memes of a certain type you earn a following that enjoys what you make and will check in on your profile when they visit the site. I've got a little corner of the audience that wants something nobody else has seen before. I call most of my memes slow movers. It takes a lot of votes, views, and comments in a certain amount of time to make front page. I get there now and then but I'm more than happy with my stuff getting votes over time because I know people are enjoying what I make and that means a lot.

That's why I always suggest people to comment on stuff they find funny, odds are people with the same sense of humor will also like your comment and if they do will check out your page. You can make the funniest meme ever but if you haven't put any time into getting your name out there the odds of it getting seen are very slim. Thing is if you are commenting on stuff you like and having fun it's not like you have to work that hard for it. You just can't only create your daily submissions and log off then log in a day later and expect luck to get you in front of people who think like you very often. That's why it's usually the people who enjoy it the most that end up getting noticed, at least that's the best explanation I can give ya for how I believe things work around here. Nobody on this site has a fool proof plan for success, I think that keeps things at even enough that everybody has the same opportunities which I like very much ;)

Ugh I know I'm getting tired when I started typing words out of place lol. I'm still completely backwards from being on the other side of the world though and I honestly like being awake at night better after working nights for so long before I had kids.
