Josef Mengele valued facts. Did tons of research finding all kinds of amazing new facts. Just wasn't too concerned about the people he did his research on.

That guy is a quite a study. What a monster! And I'm sure he thought he was doing "good" works for the benefit of humanity!

Exactly -- by *his* definition of "humanity", i.e. "people like me". If he hadn't lived in a place & time where someone that twisted could get a high-level government position, he probably would've turned to serial killing.

Of course one could be good without God. There are many fine people who are agnostic. The purpose of acknowledging, worshipping, and following our Creator is in the knowledge that He created us out of love and desires a relationship with us.

Morals cannot be scientifically established. Therefore, facts cannot make one good.

Now define "doing what is right."

This implies that those who believe in God do not value facts. I think you'd have a hard time demonstrating that.

Just be good for the right reasons.. like being good because it's good to be good :) :)

Facts can be proven, god has never been proven.. neither has Santa, unicorns,big foot, Loch Ness..
