Lotsa comments here...where to start...I actually met him (either 2000 or 2001) when I was stationed in 29 Palms, CA - he lived there (or nearby). Really cool guy.

Second, I'm not sure that I understand the point of the meme...is it because people come out of the woodwork AFTER a celebrity dies to say how much they like the recently deceased celebrity? If so, then I get it, good one!

Finally, why the hell is this NSFW, just because it has the word DICK in it?

2) Yes! ... I saw once on facebook, right after either David Bowie died, somebody posted a picture of Dr. Franknfurter captioned, "Just so we're clear: I like Tim Curry while he's still alive." I thought that was good, so I ran with the idea and started remembering influential people we may not have thought of in a while who are still alive and whose death we'll be a little sad to hear about.
3) Probably. No choice of mine. If I had known any way to prevent it I would have. I wouldn't blame the admins either. Probably automatic. I think it posted that way immediately, i.e. not flagged by anyone. If there were a quick and easy way to appeal that decision, I would.
