Be Like Bill

Locally, parking in the yard is a violation of city ordinances. To secure off street parking, you first have to get a permit to put in a paved driveway. Reasoning? The city has determined that parking on the lawn is an eyesore. Rightly so, as at least half of the vehicles parked thusly weren't in running condition.

I'M TIRED OF DRIVING TO WORK ON A MAIN ROAD AND HAVING TO SWERVE AROUND PARKED CARS WHEN IT'S STILL DARK!! LOL!! :D

I didn't say I liked it, but the owners of those houses don't want to spring for a driveway, or worse, don't have the land for one. Discuss it with you city planning department or bring it up at the next council meeting.

But where I drive to work I see driveways! No reason to park on the street when you got a driveway! LOL!

All the more reason to push for no on street parking on those routes.
