We go through that every time someone looks up his employment history. They don't ever fix it, so I guess he's owed a few checks!

Pursue it. Not just for the inconvenience, but the money too. If they don't listen or your not satisfied mention the state attorney general and even the local news stations. I've used that to my advantage before.
