While I am not "into" theme weeks I have participated with a few memes. They give me great ideas. I think if guys want to see panty week, just google image "panties". There you will see 1,000,000 more images in 5 minutes than you will on Imgflip. I think yoga week was as close as I'd like to see Imgflippers go as far as! You may repeat my comment to the other ladies if you wish!

p.s. Jeffry did panty week every day and we got rid of him. Why give him ammo to come back? :)

I personally would not like panties week. I could barely comment on most of the yoga pants memes just because i "didn't want to go there" and then there's Jeffrey.....but maybe something like classic movies or strange foods--like I said before, I'm not very good at this! Lol, but I will keep this in mind and if I come up with anything, I will let you know:)

I didn't want cleavage week in the stream, but it was close to just happening. By running that one through the stream it at least took it from 10 days down to 7, and there's a remote possibility the person who proposed it (newer user) leaves the site by then and I can just delete it. It technically doesn't violate TOS, but to me there's a time and place where cleavage memes and comments work, though I honestly don't feel a theme week is one of them. I really only saw two options with that one and chose the lesser of the two bad choices.

I saw it today, didn't upvote but commented using the argument that mypanties might use it as ammunition to come back to imgflip and that most would not want that to happen. Not sure it will help but I tried. I noticed too that he's willing to wait til July so like you mentioned, he may just delete his account before then.

I downvote freely, anything that violates the TOS, including the portion under spam about "anything else that is clearly a detriment to the Imgflip community."

You must admit, yoga pants week and cleavage week can be viewed as sexist. Those themes I don't participate in. All in fun sure but perpetuates old stereotypes

I agree. Though at least yoga pants are controversial so there's some humor there. I have a few ideas for cleavage week, but they use the geologic definition of cleavage, or it will be dude cleavage...LOLOLOL.

With Yoga Pants Weeks having wrapped (which was at least co-sponsored by Lynch) and Cleavage Week coming up, I personally feel there's been enough objectifying women weeks. I also feel these two weeks don't easily lead to TOS violations.

That said, we can authorize a panty week, but to keep within the boundaries of TOS, I propose, should we have a panty week, the following rules would need to be followed:

We cannot show the panties being worn, unless they are on the outside of a fully clothed person. Figures 3&4 show this.

They can be held in the hand(s) of a clothed model, like figure 2. Suggestive? Yes, but still a good springboard for humor.

Figure 5, while within the TOS guidelines, is also, by TOS regs, NSFW, but also violates the Guidelines I set previously.

Number 6, I believe speaks for itself.

Figure 1 is acceptable because you can't tell what type of panties Feldman was wearing, which is just as well, as he was going commando that day.

Yes, we can have fun with panty week, without objectifying women. By adding Jeffery into the lot, we are definitely saying that his panties aren't welcome.

I know, that's a hell of a lot of rules, but consider it sound guidelines. This way, even crotchless panties can be used in a meme.

Yeah, it's a stretch, I can think of other instances that would allow panties to be worn. On an animal, diapers on a baby, on a vehicle. You get the idea.

I think the problem with setting up a theme week with rules, it's going to be known as Panty Week. We could do our best to make sure blahblahblah posts the rules on promos, but as soon as the next person does a meme it's out of our sphere of influence. Even if we tried to title it Panty Week With The Following Six Conditions I still see it going bad.

Not the greatest analogy in this case, but "Panty Week" just doesn't pass the sniff test to me.

Good. I'll put away my panty meme ideas for another day. It'll probably irritate those wanting to post fap material. It's not like there's a shortage of that on the internet. I have an idea for later on but I'll hold off before I propose it. Probably in September.
