If what you say is true, and yet if the whole Russia collusion thing was real and serious, why wouldn't they wiretap Trump?.... Btw, how does one 'wiretap Russia'? Do you mean the entire country, or just individuals? But then how would you know which individuals, unless you've already had some sort of surveillance on the principal 'suspect' of collusion?.. In other words, we are being told how egregious and threatening it all supposedly was -- but yet that they wouldn't directly investigate the same person that they claim is at the top of the 'collusion'?... It's Nonsense. But they may try to present it that way, as a cover-story (and the fools in the public will automatically believe them without question).... Btw, how are the illegal leaks coming out?

My guess is yes, there is an investigation as confirmed by Comey. He and the NSA say that there was no wiretapping. They are investigating both wire tapping and collusion. They claim they did not do any wiretapping. What they did not say was (1) when the investigation of Trump began; and (2) if some other agency (public, private or foreign) might've tapped Trump. My prediction is that the end result of the investigation is going to be that there was no collusion and that there were leaks. And that is going to support a lot of what Trump is claiming. What no official has the heart to say in a public hearing is that ANYONE can put a tap or otherwise eavesdrop on anyone else. Listening devices, computer hacking, cell phone hacking and all kinds of surveillance are possible cheap and available to amateurs. Someone with real skill and training working off the clock could accomplish a lot and easily hide it all. This is the reality that no one can face and admit to in public. If there is a possibility that it could even happen to the President or candidate running for President, it has to be stopped because, otherwise it can and will happen to the rest of us.

At the hearing on Monday, Comey DID in fact say it began July 2016 -- which is ironically before Trump even secured the Party nomination.... Otherwise I pretty much agree with your assessment.... The term 'wiretap' can be taken ambiguously -- which allows various answers to be given.....

Did he say it started in July 2016? I saw the first few hours and didn't hear that. I didn't know that. Though, trump did not say "my phones are tapped" he said "Obama had my 'wires tapped'" - That does not mean telephone. That could mean an electronic listening system hard wired into Trump Tower such as in the electrical outlets and receptacles. This is a common and regular problem all billionaires and multi millionaires face today. For all we know, Trump had an electronic surveillance system removed from the Trump Tower and the FBI and NSA have it in their possession now as part of their investigation.

Right, 'wiretap' is a catch-all expression.... In modern days you are not going to see a team like that from the 1960's Mission Impossible TV show, to go in with scredrivers and needle-nose pliers.... I think everyone (who's rational) should know Trump never meant that

I can't imagine -- with all the hype surrounding it -- that Trump was NOT 'wiretapped'.... Isn't it funny, that before the Election, many of the people in the public who are screaming about 'Russia' now, probably couldn't locate Russia on a map.... And that, ironically, Hillary and Bill Clinton have had more connection with Russia over the years (financially and influence-wise).... I've got to hand it to the Dems/Media how they've been able to 'collude' to hype this up...

Dont even get me started on the Clinton Foundation. The media didnt care about where the Clintons took money from. Even when Hillary was on official business. The media hates trump for killing the TPP - which was worth billions to the media and Hollywood.
