Well then clearly, you don't know what a proper American muscle car is... that 2017 Mustang looks like a Jaguar F-Type crossed with a Maserati GranTurismo
OK, you've got me there, but either way, Mustangs have never looked good since the '60s. That's just my opinion...

I don't know if this is the one you used to make this meme, but I read about them making the Mustang into something that looked more European in an effort to sell more cars overseas. The article was kind enough to point out that Europeans buy Mustangs precisely because they are foreign cars that look different from their own designs. So Ford was making the cars less cool in an effort to sell more in a market that wasn't going to want the new design anyway.
It's absolutely ridiculous that car manufactures have been making good cars for years but after 2000, everybody just thought "f**k it!" and started making ugly pieces of crap that no-body wants. Granted, there are some cars that look decent but none look as good as the cars of the old days.

You were around for the 80's were you? Ugly doesn't begin to describe the boxes they called cars then.
Ford Escort Cosworth, Ford Capri, Golf GTI, DeLorean, Porsche 944, Porsche 911, Aston Martin V8 Volante, just to name a few good looking cars, at least in my opinion.
Woman at work bought a Mustang convertible and wanted to show it off. I asked her why she bought an American muscle car with training wheels. She asked me what I meant. I pointed out she bought an automatic.
What model year was the Mustang? Please tell me that it was one of those Mustangs from the 70's that looked like this because that would make this even more perfect.

Sorry, but it's a rather new used one. Still, an automatic? My SUV is a standard.
