A couple years ago, my BFF picked me up from work on my bday and said we could go wherever I wanted, so I chose a Mexican place I'd never tried. He immediately started making other suggestions, so I'd throw out other ideas, but, he had a complaint about every one. I insisted on my first choice, and so he pulled in throwing a fit. We did end up having a good dinner there, but, not before he actually threatened to drive off and leave our kids and me there because he wasn't getting his way.
