I see what happened

I will give you a pass on this. If you get your news from Fox, that's exactly what you would think happened. What actually happened is that Obama implemented additional screening for people applying as refugees from some areas. He did NOT stop those who had completed the process from coming in, even temporarily. Nobody got stranded or turned away at the airport, nobody who had been cleared got rejected. But to know that you have to get your news from a more reputable source.

Literally just google it, read something. It's quite disturbing to me when I see how many conservatives all have the exact same gaps in their knowledge. You want to know why the rest of us seem so confusing? You gotta read something you haven't read before from a source that wasn't actively campaigning for Trump. Don't trust US media? Try literally any other country, conservative or liberal source, it doesn't matter. Any one will fill you in on why Obama's actions didn't get the same reaction as Trump's. Obama knew the laws and obeyed them - no scandal. Trump had no idea he was breaking it, and broke it so blatantly that there was no way it could stand up in court. THAT is why the coverage is different from Canada to Australia to China. But you gotta read to know that.
