.... not really fair. Just because someone was born there doesn't mean the entire people approves of it. In fact, the Norwegians aided the British in sabotaging Nazi Germany's Atomic ambitions.
And, at the time, there was no opposition against any weapon that would help bring down Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, as both were seen as the greatest and most dangerous evil. At the time, no one but the scientists knew about the radioactive fall-outs after detonation, but even they knew not the extent of danger.
With that said, I approve of the dropping of the bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, because it was the only option. Otherwise, a full-scale invasion would have been far more costly to both sides.
