Comment timer? What comment timer!?

I know Raydog hates it too. I can halfway understand it on other folks memes, but the example I like is if I get 10 comments, that means 30 minutes to respond to them all.

My suggestion: on the Ides of March (March 15) send an email to [email protected] (recommend top users email from the same account their account is tied to, might carry more weight that way) and say something that highlights the following points if you feel they are important. Feel free to add your own.

1.) Comment timers are understandable in some circumstances so that users don't spam other memes.
2.) Comment timers on your own memes, especially front page memes, make it hard to reply to everyone.
3.) Not being able to reply to everyone in a timely manner impacts the community feel
4.) If you have multiple front pagers it makes it near impossible to keep up with replies (I wish I had this problem more often...lol!)

Anything to add? If we want changes, we need to make sure our voices get heard.
