Littler known fact. The ''Rat Pack'' was a Las Vegas newspaper term. Sinatra called his group THE SUMMIT. The Actual Rat Pack started in New York City in the early 1950s andconsisted of Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall, Errol Flynn, Mickey Rooney, Cesar Romero, and Nat King Cole. Two years later, TRP would make its headquarters at Bogie & Bacall's home in Hollywood, CA. It would be another ten years before Sinatra got his famous (infamous?) gang together.
