This is literally apples and oranges. How is it in any way hypocritical to criticize one authoritarian government and accept refugees from another? Seems like pretty consistent logic to me.
So liberals have a big problem with a Semi-Presidential Orthodox Christian Republic of Russia; but have no problem with Sunni Sharia Islamic Syrian refugees, huh?
