"Shall not be infringed" is not the most important part. The important part is that owning and carrying arms is recognized as a right. (So I suspect we agree on the issue.)

Yes , and it is a Right the Founders Put in place , however, it is the only Amendment that uses the term "Shall Not Be Infringed" !

I hate to burst your Liberal bubble but since when is lawful gun ownership for self protection, hunting, and being able to defend ones self and country against invaders "outdated" ??? Guess you never saw Red Dawn or Walking Dead or studied History...

Thing is, that was made when the british were invading and causing trouble in the us. I'm not anti-firearms, I'm just saying it was made because in revolutionary times the threat of some british guy coming in and trying to take your house was an actual threat. I'm just saying you shouldn't use the 2nd amendment as an excuse to get a gun incredibly easily.

Why Not ? A gun is a Tool , an inanimate object. Like any other ,it can be misused. It is actually easier to buy a car in most cases now...They don't do a federal background check to see if you can drive properly or sometimes even if you have a drivers license.And cars kill more people.Hell , doctors kill more people annually.
Guns have been demonized by Politicians and disarming everyone is what The U.N. who is primarily communist/socialist/monarchist members wants to achieve a 1 world government over a disarmed sheeple .Its all about Control , and we can only have free speech and free religion if we have the weapons needed to fight for them against anyone who would take them away. Thats the difference between being a citizen in a free society or being a subject .People believe that the Police is there to protect you, They arent...they are there to identify your dead body and try to figure out who killed you . So think of it as being ready when some criminal wants to kill you or rob you or hurt your children and your God given right to self Defense...Thats what the founding fathers meant by putting in the 2nd Amendment as well as defense of Country.
