I work for the government on an air force base. My job is a union job. AFGE. But coal is a dying industry. And not because of the evil government or the unfair regulations put in place to keep our air and water clean. It's just being replaced by better, more economical solutions. No matter how many hard hats our ridiculous pandering lying snake of a president puts on. He's lying to coal miners and laughing at them because they vote for him. If he wanted to help miners he would dump a ton of money into retraining, reemployment and relocation programs to help them while the world transitions away from coal. Henry Ford has been credited with saying "If I give the people what they want they'll just ask for a faster horse."
