I don't remember. I was only about 14 years old at te time. It was my uncle's plane and I was working on my Aviation merit badge for Boy Scouts.

My first hit of speed over 125 was in my 2006, 4.0 V6, a very fast and smooth trip. I don't dare do it again as the stock drive shaft may not handle it again. (they have been proven to fail over 120mph) I take it to 110 from time to time, but only when and where I know the cops are not around. The most fun though, is running fast laps at Watkins Glen International. Its not always high speed, but it is challenging.

Mine was a 1977 280Z racing my buddy with a tuned 1990 MR2 Turbo (in 1992).
The old girl went 127 and had some room....I got a little scared the front end was rising...haha

When that happened, I was in an office chair playing Forza Horizon.

My buddy and I crashed in an old 1976 BMW 5-series in 1989 or so. Thank god it was built like a tank. Going about 110 and took out a telephone pole, mailboxes and bushes and I walked out. Totalled the bimmer though! LOL

I would cry if mine got totaled. Next time I'm thinking of going back to 3 series though. I like the shorter wheelbase.
